Catholic Tour Holyland 10 Days Tour

The pilgrimage to the Holy Land is probably one of the most inspiring Catholic journeys one can take, a journey that shines the light on and strengthens our faith. This tour will follow the timeline of the life of Jesus, and we begin in Bethlehem with the birth of Jesus Christ and then follow Him until the Golgotha.

With our own eyes and then with our own words, we can witness our faith in the same places Jesus with His own words taught apostles!
From the Basilica of Annunciation in Nazareth to the Church of the Visitation to Mount of Beatitudes at the Sea of Galilee to Basilica of Transfiguration on Mount Tabor to Cana and Wedding Church to Pater Noster chapel to Getsemani Garden to Via Dolorosa to Holy Sepulchre and many more most Holy places in the land, Jesus walked on!

Each of those places will shine the light of immense love and hope God laid before us.

Pilgrimage to Holy Land is a  pilgrimage of a new dimension. See if you can reveal it!

Have a blessed pilgrimage!

In the morning, after breakfast, we drive to Bethlehem (house of bread in Hebrew). First is the visit to Shepherd’s Field, where Angels appeared to the shepherds (Luke 2) to announce the birth of Jesus. Later, to visit the church of Nativity built over St. Jerome's tomb, In the Grotto under the central altar, we will walk by the Holy Manger and the Silver Star with the Latin inscription "Hic de Maria Virgine Jesus Christus Natus est."
In the second part of the day, we will be visiting the village En Karem; you will visit the Church of Visitation, the site of the Blessed Virgin Mary's visit with her cousin Elizabeth. This is the place where Our Lady said Her "Magnificat." Visit here will also include the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

In the morning after breakfast, you will leave for Nazareth; hereupon arrival group will celebrate Holy Mass and visit Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus and the place where He spent the first 30 years of His life. We will pray in the churches of St. Joseph and the Annunciation where the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that She would be the Mother of God. A walk through old Nazareth brings us to see the Well where Mary went for water, visit the Orthodox church there. After lunch, the break tour will continue to Cana, the site of Jesus' first miracle. In this little town, we will have the Renewal of the Marriage Vows. From Cana, we are back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

This morning pilgrimage "In the Footsteps of Jesus" continues with the visit to Capernaum, where Jesus lived; new church built at the site of the Home of St. Peter, ruins of the synagogue where Jesus preached, here we will get to know more of the Life of Jesus in Capernaum. The same day you will enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee before going to Tabgha, the site of the Multiplication of the loaves and fishes and the church of St. Peter's Primacy & to Mt. Of Beatitudes where the Lord Jesus preached Sermon on the Mountain. At the end of the day, we are on river Jordan, the same river Jesus was baptized in by St. John, to renew our baptismal vows.

This morning to beat the afternoon crowd, we will drive to Mt Tabor. We will take a short taxi drive up to the mountain to visit the Church of Transfiguration and celebrate Holy Mass. After the visit, we will head south through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest known continuously inhabited city in the world. After a stop to tell the story of Zacchaeus and renew ourselves “The Parable of Good Samaritan,” we will have a stop for lunch. Later you will drive through the Judean Desert, passing by the Mt. of Temptation. The same late morning tour continues to Qumran. Here are found Dead Sea Scrolls, more than 900 pieces in 30 caves. Stop for the “Dead sea experience" floating on the surface of the Dead Sea – bring your swimsuits. The long and inspiring day ends with dinner at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Arriving in Jerusalem, we will head to Mt. of Olives to visit the Ascension Chapel – we believe that it was here Jesus ascended to heaven 40 days after the Resurrection. Next on the schedule is the Pater Noster, where He taught his disciples the Our Father – “Pater Noster”. Enjoy the view of the Holy City from atop the Mount of Olives. We then walk down the Palm Sunday Road, the road Jesus followed on His way to Jerusalem. We stop at the chapel of Dominus Flevit, where our Lord wept and shed a tear for Jerusalem (Luke 19: 37- 42). We then proceed to the Garden of Gethsemane and pray at the Church of All Nations(Church of Gethsemane), where Jesus prayed: "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours will be done". At the end of the day, you will visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu, the church built on the site of the house of high priest Caiaphas. This is where Jesus spent the night in the dungeon after his arrest. On this site, Peter denied Jesus three times, and the cock crowed (Gallicantu).

As Jerusalem is our destiny, today, you will enter the Old City and begin with the Church of St Anne. One of the rare churches spared from Moslems' destruction was built over Joachim and Anne's house. Here we also visit and pray at Bethesda's pool, where Jesus Christ healed a man who was crippled for 38 years. After the tour here, we will follow & pray the Stations of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, from Pilate’s fortress and Flagellation Chapel to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, site of Crucifixion and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. From here at the open market of Jerusalem, the area made for “bargaining and shopping” - free and on our own for the rest of the day.

This morning, we will visit the Holocaust Museum in the morning, and then in the afternoon group will stop to see the model of Jerusalem from the time of Jesus in the Israel Museum. After the lunch break, we are back to Jerusalem, first on to Mount Zion Church of Dormition, where Mary fell into Eternal sleep and the Last Supper Room. Then, we will go to the Temple Mount area with the Cardo Maximus (the street from Roman times) and then end at the Western Wall of Solomon's Temple, with the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Dome of the Rock mosque above it (no entrance there). Tonight is the final and farewell dinner at the hotel in Jerusalem.

Today we will fly back home; depending on the flight arrangements, your arrival back home will be the same day!
From the hotel in Jerusalem, transfer to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport
